Joe is a graduate of Northwestern University's Bienen School of Music, where he earned a Bachelors of Music in Music Education and studied Portuguese in the Weinberg School of Arts and Sciences.
During his time at Northwestern University, Joe worked on numerous student and department musical theatre productions and Co-Music Directed the 77th Annual Dolphin Show: Hello, Dolly! In addition to singing with the Bienen Contemporary/Early Vocal Ensemble, University Singers, and University Chorale, Joe sang Tenor II and served as Music Director for Freshman Fifteen A Cappella and helped to produce the group's 2018 album ILU. He served as a Professional Development Coordinator for the Northwestern University chapter of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). Joe also participated in Northwestern University Dance Marathon during his first three years as a dancer and a member of the Dancer Accessibility Experience committee.
Originally from Westport, Connecticut, Joe is a graduate of Staples High School. He is an avid home cook, cyclist, animal lover, podcast listener, and Dungeons & Dragons enthusiast!
